What we believe: Good leadership reduces business risk. It is what makes boards effective, managers successful and motivates staff. Clients come to us to improve leadership in their organisation.

What we do: We advise our clients on how to encourage good leadership at board level, how to align their people to their strategy, and how to plan succession. We link people to strategy in three ways:

1. Board engagement: Panthea uses a specific tool to analyse and improve board performance. It was developed with our founding chairman, John Viney, over many years, based on analysis of twenty five FTSE100 chairmen’s perspectives on what makes boards effective, and testing the correlation between FTSE100 board composition and share performance over time. The tool is called FEBE. It measures five elements of board engagement that underpin board effectiveness.

2. Organisational engagement: We help leaders create a narrative to persuade others to follow them. We help make the story clear and compelling, linking strategy to what people want to do. We help them embed this story in their organisation through performance and talent management and communication. We ensure that the CEO builds a powerful coalition of support across a complex organisation.

3. Assesment and Succession Planning: We help organisations ensure that they have the right people for their leadership roles. We provide individual assessments in 28 countries at one global price and at one global standard. Our ground-breaking Find service, a dynamic alternative to executive search builds on this assessment experience and reach to assist leaders to plan succession globally. It presents internal and external candidates for the same key roles in one simple, standard report, ahead of role changes. Find ensures that the packaging and content for evaluating internal and external candidates is the same: one simple succession plan that compares internal and external, like for like, ahead of time. Find saves both time and money and reduces the risk of poor hires or promotions.
